About the Role

A thriving industrial solutions company with manufacturing and distribution sites across Ireland and the UK seeks a Head of Business Transformation to join their leadership team in Clare/Limerick. This permanent full-time position reports directly to the CFO and plays a pivotal role in driving operational and business change initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze, streamline, and unify end-to-end processes throughout the Group, spanning Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, and Sales functions.
  • Develop and implement a prioritized transformation roadmap targeting process improvements, automation, and enhanced utilization of core systems.
  • Lead the operational integration of newly acquired businesses from initial planning stages through to long-term stabilization.
  • Manage third-party IT managed service providers by overseeing service level agreements, vendor contracts, and ensuring service quality.
  • Ensure appropriate IT governance, cybersecurity measures, access controls, and risk management frameworks are in place.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to promote continuous improvement and foster adoption of change initiatives.

Required Experience and Skills

  • Demonstrated success in senior roles focused on Business Transformation, Process Architecture, or Program Management.
  • Strong expertise in mapping business processes and optimizing or implementing enterprise core systems such as ERP, CRM, and Supply Chain solutions.
  • Experience managing outsourced IT service providers, including monitoring vendor performance and maintaining IT governance and risk controls.
  • Hands-on experience in leading operational integrations following mergers and acquisitions, preferably within multi-site manufacturing or distribution companies.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills at the executive level, with a practical and results-oriented approach.
  • A bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or Engineering is required; additional certifications like Lean, Six Sigma, or Project/Change Management are advantageous.
  • Must have a valid right to work within the European Union.
