Job description

Role Overview

Reimagined Parking is seeking a full-time Valet Parking Attendant in Queens/Jackson Heights, NY. The role pays $17.00 per hour and involves variable shifts and schedules. The application deadline is 10 July 2026.

This position focuses on safely parking and returning guest vehicles while maintaining a polished, guest-first experience. You will work closely with the Operations Manager and/or Shift Supervisor to keep service smooth, efficient, and aligned with safety expectations and all relevant state and local regulations.

What You’ll Do

  • Handle the valet flow from guest arrival through departure, including greeting guests, collecting keys, issuing tickets, and entering customer details into digital systems.
  • Safely park and retrieve vehicles while keeping track of each vehicle’s location and placement.
  • Check vehicles for any existing damage and record observations in manual or electronic ticketing tools.
  • Provide fast, courteous support to guests, answer questions, and offer directions or other help as needed.
  • Represent the company professionally by engaging politely with guests, opening car doors, and helping with bags or personal belongings.
  • Support traffic control and site safety by managing vehicle flow, placing barricades, monitoring drive areas, and arranging towing when necessary.
  • Collect valet charges, process fees accurately, and help balance ticket counts and revenue at the end of shifts.
  • Bring vehicles back quickly for waiting guests and assist with luggage or other items when required.
  • Report any incidents, accidents, or claims right away to the Operations Manager or Shift Lead.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with guests, clients, supervisors, and coworkers throughout the shift.

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience

The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-moving setting, can make sound decisions quickly, and knows how to provide strong guest service while handling vehicles safely. Prior valet experience is preferred, and the ability to drive manual transmission vehicles is an advantage.

Requirements

  • You must be 18 years of age or older.
  • A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
  • You must be legally authorized to work in the United States and able to submit the documentation needed to verify employment eligibility, as required by the Department of Homeland Security.
  • The company uses E-Verify to confirm work authorization.
  • You should be able to operate guest vehicles with normal coordination, including hand-eye and hand-foot coordination.
  • You must be capable of walking or running between the valet stand and guest vehicles for long periods, sometimes for the entire shift.
  • You should be able to lift and carry customer luggage or personal items weighing up to 50 lbs on occasion.
  • The work takes place in garages, lots, booths, and outdoor areas, with exposure to heat, cold, rain, wind, and snow depending on the season and region.
  • The job is customer-facing, fast paced, and may involve interactions with upset or frustrated guests while maintaining professionalism.
  • Duties may change at any time with or without notice, as this description is not intended to be an exhaustive list.

Benefits

  • Full-time employees receive 10 days of paid time off and 8 paid holidays.
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage are available for you and your family.
  • Company-paid basic life insurance and short-term disability coverage are included, with additional options available.
  • A 401(k) plan is offered with a generous employer match and immediate vesting.
  • You can access an Employee Assistance Program for behavioral health support for you and your family.
  • Parental and caregiver leave is available to support family needs.
  • For part-time employees, benefits include a 401(k) plan with employer match and immediate vesting, paid sick time as required by law, and access to the Employee Assistance Program.
