Overview
Tower Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, part of the AutoCanada dealership network, is hiring a full-time Lot Attendant for an immediate start in Calgary, Alberta. AutoCanada is a Canadian-owned, publicly traded automotive retail group operating across Canada and the United States, with a focus on innovation, data-led decisions, team growth, and operational excellence.
This role sits in a busy, fast-moving dealership environment where no two days are the same. The position supports both service and sales operations, customer movement, vehicle presentation, and overall lot organization.
Key responsibilities
- Move customers and dealership staff between locations when required.
- Handle basic building and grounds upkeep as needed.
- Support both the service and sales teams with day-to-day tasks.
- Park, organize, and rotate vehicles for both the sales lot and service department.
- Remove protective covers and identification tags before returning vehicles to customers.
- Check vehicles for stains, debris, and damage, and report any issues right away.
- Help with write-ups for service visits and tag customer vehicles appropriately.
- Assist with workshop cleanup and deliveries when necessary.
- Clear snow and clean vehicle exteriors according to seasonal requirements.
- Flag merchandising concerns or lot presentation issues to management.
- Place promotional signage in and on vehicles.
- Track and arrange vehicles based on their progress through reconditioning.
- Keep the lot neat and free of trash and clutter.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Genuine interest in the automotive field and a solid understanding of vehicles.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving history.
- Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
- Prior experience with cleaning supplies, detailing tools, or power washers is considered an advantage.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to manage priorities effectively.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good customer service skills.
