Position Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, docket, and process legal paperwork for case management using computer systems.
• Offer polite and cooperative support to judges, attorneys, and the general public.
• Handle telephone communications and certify official documents as required.
• Complete any additional duties assigned by the Clerk of the District Court.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of one year clerical experience; alternatively, 30 college semester hours may substitute for required experience.
• Proficient in accurate computer data entry and operation of typical office equipment.
• Preferred qualifications include familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and prior experience working in a court or legal office setting.
