Role Summary

The Training Officer position demands a motivated and competent individual to facilitate and encourage learning within the organization. Your responsibilities include organizing, delivering, and assessing training initiatives aimed at enhancing staff development while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. This role is key to upholding high care standards and nurturing ongoing education culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strict adherence to InisCare's policies and procedures, with a thorough understanding maintained.
  • Regularly update and improve all training programs in alignment with employee needs.
  • Evaluate the impact and effectiveness of training sessions and workshops.
  • Partner with management to identify training needs and schedule relevant sessions.
  • Encourage continuous improvement through implementation of best practices and innovative training solutions.
  • Offer constructive feedback to recruiters on potential hires.
  • Manage the renewal process for mandatory training of current employees.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills tailored to diverse audiences.
  • Strong organization and effective time management.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with e-learning platforms.
  • Positive attitude with dedication to ongoing professional growth.
  • Essential certifications: QQI Certified Manual Handling & People Moving Instructor, Train the Trainer, MAPA Training Instructor.
  • Desirable qualifications: First Aid certification.

Experience

  • Preferably experienced in delivering training sessions.
  • Experience in healthcare environments is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and keen attention to detail.
  • PC competency is essential.
  • Relevant training instructor certifications held.

Working Hours
