Job description

Role overview

Albury Wodonga Health is looking for a Theatre Store Person to support the Wodonga Theatre operating theatre complex by keeping store operations organised and well maintained. This is a permanent full-time position in a hospital environment.

What you will do

  • Keep theatre stores stocked, orderly, and functioning effectively.
  • Use inventory and computer systems such as Oracle, Imprest, or equivalent tools to manage stock.
  • Apply sound inventory control practices within a healthcare setting.
  • Handle medical supplies and support stock processes for the operating theatre complex.

What we are looking for

  • Strong ability to work with core computer applications, particularly inventory platforms such as Oracle or Imprest.
  • Working knowledge of inventory management principles and how they are used in a hospital or health service.
  • Experience dealing with medical stores and/or using the Oracle computer system.

About the organisation

Albury Wodonga Health is the largest regional health service between Sydney and Melbourne. Based across Albury and Wodonga, the organisation supports a population of up to 300,000 people across North-East Victoria and Southern NSW. Its network includes two main hospital campuses and 22 additional sites, with services spanning emergency, surgical, women’s and children’s health, community care, mental health, allied health, and sub-acute care. The organisation is also expanding with a new Emergency Department opened in 2024 and a new hospital planned for the Albury site by 2028.
