About the role
Albury Wodonga Health is seeking a Staff Rostering Coordinator to join the Support Services team. This position is responsible for building and maintaining a 24/7 administration roster across the Support Services Directorate, ensuring it is staffed effectively in line with contractual requirements and operational demand. The role also includes coordinating both planned and unplanned leave so that appropriate staffing levels are sustained throughout the directorate.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain rostering for a 24-hour, seven-day administration function within Support Services.
- Ensure shifts are filled in a way that aligns with staff contractual obligations and service requirements.
- Manage leave coverage for both planned and unexpected absences to protect staffing continuity.
What you will bring
- Previous experience in a rostering or scheduling environment, including allocating shifts and maintaining suitable coverage levels.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to deal politely and confidently with a range of stakeholders.
- A self-driven approach and the capability to work with limited supervision.
