About the Team
The Doubao (Seed) team is focused on developing advanced AI foundation models and pushing the boundaries of research. Its work supports progress across technology and society, with research covering deep learning, reinforcement learning, language, vision, audio, AI infrastructure, and AI safety. The team operates across China, Singapore, and the United States.
Role Overview
This position is centered on sourcing talent for complex hiring needs and supporting recruitment efforts across multiple regions. It is a 12-month temporary assignment handled by a third-party agency. The agency will be the direct employer, and any payroll, benefits, and contractual matters will be managed by them. Although the work may be performed at ByteDance, this role is not employment with ByteDance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead sourcing for multiple intricate searches and engage strong candidates across different seniority levels.
- Develop and execute creative sourcing approaches, launch new initiatives, and refine existing workflows to improve hiring effectiveness with support from talent acquisition partners.
- Work closely with Talent Acquisition Partners and Hiring Managers to strengthen recruitment operations and overall efficiency.
- Provide a positive candidate journey while representing ByteDance as an attractive employer.
- Support hiring activity across regions such as APAC and AMS.
Qualifications
Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree or have an equivalent level of practical experience. The role requires the ability to perform well in a fast-moving environment, manage several priorities at once, and communicate confidently with employees, stakeholders, and candidates at all levels. Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills are essential. Prior experience of at least 2 years in tech recruitment, whether in an agency, search firm, or in-house setting, is preferred.

This role is offered through a third-party agency for a 12-month temporary assignment. The selected individual will be employed by the agency rather than ByteDance. All employment terms, including salary processing and benefits, will be managed by the agency.
