Global Workforce Compliance Expert (Research & Process Construction)

About the Team

The HR Operations unit is committed to crafting and delivering a smooth, supportive employee journey throughout all stages of employment. Our focus is on empathy and care, aiming to develop straightforward and effective people processes, policies, and systems. Key Responsibilities

• Investigate various international employment frameworks and compliance mandates, covering contractors, Employer of Record (EOR), outsourcing, and different hiring methods.
• Partner with overseas legal departments, external law firms, and regional business units to detect employment risks and regulatory compliance across diverse countries and regions.
• Monitor updates in labor legislation, taxes, data compliance, and workforce regulations in critical markets, delivering internal research insights and risk evaluation.
• Translate compliance guidelines into standardized internal procedures, approval workflows, and management systems to promote global alignment.
• Develop an overseas employment risk knowledge base and case library to assist policy interpretation and support solutions for business teams.
• Collaborate closely with HR, Legal, Finance, Procurement, and Security divisions to build a comprehensive global workforce governance framework.
• Engage in international employment projects including supplier assessments, employment model design, risk mitigation, and staff training initiatives.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree or higher qualification is mandatory.
• At least 3 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong familiarity with principal global employment structures and operational processes such as EOR, third-party dispatch, and BPO.
• Excellent research prowess and ability to consolidate diverse country policies into organized analyses.
• Proficient in English to independently liaise with international legal counsel and external consultants.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in overseas labor law or international compliance projects.
• Experience with EOR or global employment platform collaborations.
• Knowledge of workforce governance in regions including Europe, North America, Southeast Asia, or the Middle East.
• Experience in large-scale internet companies or internationally established firms.
• Education related to Law, Labor Relations, Human Resources, or International Business is preferred.
• Experience in HR service procurement, labor legal compliance, or working with HR service providers is advantageous.
