Responsibilities

In the position of Teammate Relations Consultant reporting to the Director, you will serve as a subject matter expert within the HR Teammate Relations function. Your primary duties include conducting thorough teammate investigations in compliance with policies and procedures, supporting policy and compliance initiatives, and collaborating across the enterprise to provide exceptional services. Collaborating closely with HR Business Partners and Centers of Service, you will drive strategy, develop procedures, and maintain consistent policy interpretation, ensuring an equitable and compliant workplace experience.

  • Conduct impartial investigations into complex teammate relations matters, preparing detailed reports and recommendations.
  • Provide expertise on policy interpretation to ensure uniform approaches.
  • Consult on leave of absence and workers compensation issues in partnership with HR teams, offering clear communications and action plans.
  • Analyze data trends to identify areas for proactive training and education programs.
  • Support compliance efforts including audits and policy guidance for teammates.
  • Enhance processes to strengthen collaboration with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) and other stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with Legal and Compliance departments to align on strategic objectives.
  • Keep current with relevant federal, state, and local employment laws.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • At least five years of experience in Human Resources or related teammate support roles.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive, confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong prioritization skills with adaptability to shifting tasks.
  • Clear and sound judgment in delivering findings and recommendations after investigations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational abilities.
  • Experience using communication and HR platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, ServiceNow, iCIMS, and UltiPro is desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

The role offers an annual salary between $95,000 and $105,000 alongside a comprehensive benefits package supporting employee health, well-being, and financial security.
