About the Role
Ampol is hiring a Retail Team Member for its Jurien Bay site in Western Australia. This role sits within one of Australia’s well-known convenience retail networks, where the focus is on making each customer visit easy, efficient, and welcoming.
What You’ll Be Doing
In this position, you will help keep the store running smoothly by supporting merchandising, stock handling, inventory control, and accurate POS and cash processes. You will also play an important part in creating a positive customer experience throughout every shift.
Key Duties
- Provide friendly, helpful service that puts customers first.
- Assist the store manager with day-to-day retail operations.
- Work closely with teammates to maintain an effective team environment.
- Follow safe work practices and maintain accuracy and attention to detail.
- Be available to work across a 7-day roster, including overnight shifts and weekends when required.
What We’re Looking For
- Prior experience in retail or customer service is preferred.
- Confidence using POS systems and handling cash with accuracy.
- Good communication skills and a cooperative team mindset.
- Willingness to work weekends and overnight shifts as part of rotating roster requirements.
