Role Overview
The Supply Chain Management team at flaconi ensures prompt, reliable delivery of beauty products by optimizing inventory and streamlining replenishment processes. We are seeking a motivated and strategic Team Lead for Supply Chain Operations (all genders) as a parental leave cover for one year. This role involves leading a team of five operations specialists by blending hands-on leadership with analytical insight to enhance supply chain efficiency and resilience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and drive the execution of supply chain operations to guarantee timely and cost-efficient product deliveries.
- Plan, oversee, and manage replenishment activities to maintain optimal inventory levels, preventing stockouts and excess stock.
- Regularly assess monthly aging stock and collaborate with Logistics, suppliers, and category teams to develop liquidation plans through transfers, returns, clearances, and promotions.
- Work closely with Category Management, Commercial, and Retail Media teams to proactively resolve inventory challenges.
- Create and apply data-informed strategies related to replenishment, forecasting, and supplier engagement to reduce overstock and understock scenarios.
- Develop simulation models to forecast sales, replenish stock, and optimize forecast accuracy to boost profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives by identifying innovations that enhance operational efficiency.
- Analyze SCM Operations KPIs, recommend improvements, and share best practices within the team.
- Represent the Supply Chain team in cross-departmental collaborations, advocating for its strategic importance.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in Supply Chain Management, preferably in E-Commerce, Retail, or FMCG sectors.
- Proven leadership capabilities with experience managing and developing operational teams.
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in data-driven strategy development.
- Practical experience with SQL, Tableau (or equivalent BI tools), and ERP systems.
- In-depth knowledge of forecasting, inventory management, replenishment techniques, and supplier collaboration.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate complex data for diverse audiences.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in German is highly advantageous.
