Role Overview

The company is hiring a motivated Junior Controller / Financial Controller (all genders) for the Financial Controlling team in Berlin on a 1-year contract. This position goes beyond routine number crunching and acts as an important business partner by turning data into practical insights and communicating findings to the Management Board and the parent company.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the monthly closing cycle by reviewing monthly results, summarizing performance, and adding context for the Management Board.
• Create recurring internal and external financial reports, with a focus on OPEX and CAPEX analysis to identify business-relevant insights.
• Maintain the financial reporting tool, including data collection from the ERP system, mapping new structures, and controlling user access.
• Assist with monthly forecasts, planning cycles, and improvements that make internal processes more efficient.
• Contribute to ongoing projects and manage ad hoc requests so that key reports are delivered on time.

Candidate Profile

• At least 1 year of experience in Controlling or FP&A, preferably in a fast-paced environment such as retail or e-commerce.
• Strong command of MS Office, especially Excel, including formulas and data handling.
• Strong analytical thinking with the ability to explain complex topics clearly and ask for support when needed.
• Independent and self-driven working style, combined with a collaborative mindset and close teamwork.
• Fluent written and spoken English, as the team works in an international environment.

Nice to Have

• Basic familiarity with HGB and IFRS.
• Initial exposure to data warehouses, SQL, BI tools, or ERP systems.

Additional Information

Founded in 2011, flaconi is one of the early online perfumeries and employs more than 700 people from 60 nationalities across its Berlin-Charlottenburg headquarters and fulfillment center in Halle.
