About the Role
Drive sustainable transformations in transport by joining a global leader. We are seeking a proactive Talent Acquisition Professional to autonomously handle the full recruitment cycle for IT and technology positions. This role suits a self-reliant sourcer skilled in end-to-end hiring processes and inventive sourcing strategies for a competitive talent landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage comprehensive recruitment processes for IT and technical roles from initial briefing to job offer closure and onboarding coordination, reporting to TA Manager.
- Develop and sustain a robust candidate pipeline that includes both active and passive prospects, focusing on niche IT roles.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to clarify position needs, conduct market assessments, and strategize hiring plans.
- Lead offer discussions, navigate competing bids, and maintain positive candidate experiences throughout hiring.
- Exhibit strong, independent sourcing proficiency using portals, referrals, professional and technical communities.
- Innovate recruitment sourcing channels by engaging with developer communities, hackathons, open-source contributors, and social media platforms.
- Contribute creatively to recruitment marketing and employer branding to augment talent pipelines.
- Efficiently manage multiple open roles with minimal oversight, prioritizing and owning requisitions fully.
- Provide hiring teams with valuable market data, availability insights, and expected timelines.
- Ensure ATS data integrity, comply with recruitment protocols, and assist in reporting and dashboard creation.
- Share best practices and market intelligence within the Talent Acquisition team.
- Lead campus recruitment activities including planning, execution, and relationship-building with educational institutions.
- Maintain engagement with placement cells and track early career hiring metrics to refine strategies.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- 6 to 10 years of recruitment experience, predominantly in IT and technology hiring.
- Proven record in planning and executing campus hiring initiatives.
- Advanced sourcing skills across diverse platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, job boards, referrals, and technical communities.
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage job requisitions with limited supervision.
- Experience recruiting for various technical roles like software development, data analytics, cloud computing, and embedded systems preferred.
- Bachelor's degree mandatory; postgraduate qualifications in HR or MBA are advantageous.
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment data analytics.
Key Competencies
- Self-driven with a strong sense of ownership over recruitment responsibilities.
- Resourceful and innovative in sourcing methodologies and talent channel development.
- Effective in managing stakeholder relationships and providing consultative guidance to hiring managers.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on candidate engagement and experience.
- Adept at operating within a fast-moving, matrixed global environment.
