Role Overview

As a Talent Acquisition Lead on the US recruiting team, you will play a vital role in constructing and expanding teams at Mistral from inception. Being an early member, you will shape recruitment strategies and operations and work closely with hiring managers across both technical and business divisions. Your efforts will be critical in identifying and attracting exceptional talent to support Mistral's expansion. Additionally, you will ensure an outstanding candidate experience and help establish recruitment best practices in the US.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with technology and business leaders to comprehend hiring requirements and identify suitable candidates.
  • Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle including sourcing, interviewing, and candidate closure.
  • Provide candidates with clear communications regarding the hiring process and insights into the company culture.
  • Enhance recruitment processes, tools, and documentation to optimize efficiency and outcomes.
  • Leverage data analytics to identify recruitment process challenges and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure a superior candidate experience within a highly competitive job market.
  • Work collectively to continuously elevate hiring standards.
  • Influence the development and progression of talent acquisition strategies in the US.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of 6 years recruiting expertise, including over 2 years in startup or rapidly growing environments.
  • Proven capability to independently recruit for complex technical and business positions.
  • Experience recruiting across multiple geographic locations or markets.
  • Proficiency in managing ambiguity and balancing both strategic planning and practical recruitment activities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Influence stakeholders at all levels without direct supervisory authority.
  • Highly organized and detail-focused with the ability to manage shifting priorities.
  • Familiarity with hiring platforms and tools such as Ashby, LinkedIn Recruiter, or Modernloop.
  • Established track record of recruiting both business and technical roles.
