Job description
About Vaudit
Vaudit is an AI-native, agentic spend-auditing platform designed for enterprise teams. Its specialized AI agents review AI infrastructure spending across OpenAI, Anthropic, AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, Google AI, Cohere, and other major model providers. The platform checks token billing, spots billing breaches, applies spend controls, and works continuously to recover money.
The same audit layer also covers cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, and Azure, along with SaaS and operational vendors. Vaudit has analyzed more than $1 billion in spending and helped clients recover over $50 million. The company is Series A and holds SOC 2 Type 2 and ISO 27001 certifications.
The Role
As SVP of Sales for the CTO Office, you will lead Vaudit’s commercial efforts with technical decision-makers, including CTOs, VPs of Engineering, Heads of AI/ML, Platform Architects, and FinOps leaders at enterprise organizations.
This role sits at the intersection of sales, engineering, and AI infrastructure. The ideal leader understands how technical buyers think and can discuss tokens, rate limits, API billing, cloud cost optimization, and autonomous AI controls with confidence. You will use your existing relationships with CTO-level leaders to introduce a platform that audits every dollar of AI spend and helps prevent runaway costs.
What You'll Do
- Build and lead Vaudit’s enterprise go-to-market motion toward CTO, VP Engineering, and AI/ML leadership buyers.
- Create the sales approach for the AI spend-auditing and cloud billing recovery market.
- Develop and engage a strong network of senior CTO and engineering stakeholders across target accounts.
- Work closely with Product to turn technical needs into proposals, pipeline, and signed business.
- Handle complex enterprise sales processes that involve security, legal, procurement, and finance teams.
- Report directly to the CEO.
What You Bring
- More than 15 years of enterprise sales experience with demonstrated success selling to CTOs, VPs of Engineering, or senior technical leaders.
- A minimum of 5 years of startup or early-stage company experience, which is required.
- Established relationships with CTOs and engineering executives who know and trust you.
- Strong command of AI and cloud infrastructure topics, including model providers, token-based billing, API cost structures, cloud spend optimization, and autonomous AI systems.
- Experience selling complex technical offerings such as AI/ML platforms, developer tools, cloud infrastructure, FinOps, or similar products.
- A record of consistently exceeding quota in enterprise sales cycles lasting 6 to 18 months.
- A builder mindset, with the ability to design process and structure rather than simply follow existing systems.
Compensation
The base salary for this role is $200,000 to $250,000, and the total package is $1,000,000 including equity.
Location
This is a remote role open to candidates anywhere in the United States.
