Job description

About Vaudit

Vaudit is an AI-first, agentic spend auditing platform designed for large enterprises. Its network of specialist AI agents reviews spend across AI infrastructure providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic, AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, Google AI, and other major model vendors to validate invoices, identify billing mistakes, and recover lost funds automatically.

The platform also covers operational vendors like AWS, GCP, Salesforce, Stripe, logistics partners, and advertising platforms. The company’s approach is to audit every dollar, document every overcharge, and track every credit through to recovery.

Vaudit has reviewed more than $1 billion in spend and helped clients recover over $50 million. The company is Series A and holds SOC 2 Type 2 as well as ISO 27001 certifications.

The Opportunity

AI-related spend is becoming one of the fastest-rising costs on the enterprise P&L, yet many CFOs still have limited visibility into whether those charges are correct, whether contractual terms are being met, or how much money has already been lost to errors and overbilling. That challenge sits directly with finance leadership.

As SVP of Sales for the CFO office, you will lead Vaudit’s commercial strategy for finance and operations buyers, including CFOs, VPs of Finance, Controllers, Heads of Procurement, and FinOps leaders at enterprise organizations.

This position is intended for a seasoned seller with more than 15 years of experience selling into finance-led environments such as ERP, spend management, procurement, financial analytics, audit, or compliance software. You should understand how CFOs make decisions, how to earn a place on their agenda, how to move through procurement, and how to secure board approval. The role is also looking for someone with long-standing CFO relationships built through delivering measurable financial impact. In this role, you will introduce an autonomous auditing platform that helps organizations close the gap between what they pay and what they should pay across AI, cloud, SaaS, and other operating vendors.

Required background: The right candidate will also bring at least 5 years of experience in startup or early-stage companies. This role is not meant for someone whose background is limited to large enterprise sales teams. You should have experience generating your own pipeline with finance leaders, managing the full sales process, and closing deals without relying on a major brand or large support structure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and expand Vaudit’s enterprise go-to-market efforts toward CFO, VP Finance, and procurement stakeholders.
  • Create and refine the sales approach for AI spend governance and vendor audit recovery.
  • Grow and activate a senior-level network of finance decision-makers across target accounts.
  • Work closely with Product to shape CFO-specific ROI models, audit outputs, and board-level business case materials.
  • Manage complex enterprise sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders, including qualification, legal review, procurement, and final close.
  • Report directly to the CEO.

Candidate Profile

  • More than 15 years of enterprise sales experience, with a strong record of selling to CFOs, VPs of Finance, or procurement leaders.
  • At least 5 years of startup or early-stage company experience, which is mandatory.
  • Well-established relationships with senior finance executives, with the ability to earn their trust and engagement.
  • Strong understanding of how finance teams evaluate and purchase software, including approval workflows, budget timing, common objections, and stakeholder navigation.
  • Experience in spend management, FinOps, ERP, procurement, audit/compliance, or similar financial software categories.
  • Ability to build a persuasive ROI narrative and present it convincingly to a CFO and board audience.
  • A track record of consistently exceeding quota and building enterprise pipeline from the ground up.

Compensation

The base pay range is $200,000 to $250,000. The total compensation package is $1,000,000, including equity.
