Role Overview

We are seeking a visionary Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join our executive leadership team and propel operational excellence. The COO will lead global supply chain, sourcing, production, fulfillment, and logistics strategies, supporting our quickly expanding omni-channel business footprint. This role includes oversight of operations across owned retail stores, wholesale, international distribution partners, direct-to-consumer eCommerce, pop-up events, and large-scale activations. The focus will be on expanding margins, enhancing on-time deliveries, and laying the groundwork for global scalability.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute a scalable global supply chain plan to facilitate international business growth.
  • Lead apparel sourcing, production, logistics, and fulfillment ensuring seamless delivery from factories to customers.
  • Manage and enhance relationships with international distributors to establish scalable, accountable systems and optimize performance.
  • Expand and refine the international third-party logistics footprint to boost speed, efficiency, and customer service quality.
  • Select and oversee global logistics, fulfillment, and distribution partners to maintain efficiency, resiliency, and cost control.
  • Develop a comprehensive global omni-channel operational model encompassing retail, wholesale, distributors, DTC eCommerce, pop-ups, and events.
  • Create scalable backend systems and processes for inventory visibility, order management, and operational excellence across all channels.
  • Lead customer service initiatives to improve satisfaction and loyalty, implementing effective tools and proactive engagement strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with the CEO on international retail and wholesale growth strategies, nurturing strong global retail partnerships.
  • Drive long-term gross margin improvements via sourcing innovation, operational efficiencies, factory negotiations, and rigorous cost controls.
  • Achieve world-class on-time delivery and enhance profitability within the supply chain.
  • Administer operational budgets to align with annual financial goals.
  • Build and lead a high-caliber team across operational functions, focusing on talent recruitment, development, mentorship and fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and teamwork.
  • Work collaboratively across Product, Marketing, Finance, and Retail teams to align operational strategies with company-wide objectives.
  • Balance immediate execution demands with strategic capability building for sustained global expansion.

Qualifications

  • Over 15 years of senior leadership experience in operations, supply chain, sourcing, or logistics within premium apparel or consumer brand sectors.
  • Proven expertise in developing and managing complex apparel sourcing, production, and supply chain frameworks.
  • Experience negotiating commercial agreements with factories and suppliers to facilitate scaling and margin enhancement.
  • Demonstrable success in scaling global omni-channel retail operations, including international wholesale and distributor growth.
  • An established network of high-quality technical performance apparel factory relationships across various regions.
