About the Role
A well-established consumer goods manufacturer undergoing a phase of growth after a recent acquisition is seeking a Vice President of Manufacturing. This key leadership role involves overseeing manufacturing operations across a network of facilities throughout the United States, guiding strategy, and driving operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee manufacturing activities across multiple US sites.
- Craft and implement manufacturing strategies aligned with growth goals.
- Foster a culture rooted in accountability, continuous improvement, and leadership development.
- Lead initiatives to enhance safety, quality, productivity, customer satisfaction, and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with departments such as Supply Chain, Engineering, Commercial, Finance, and HR to optimize results.
- Support integration efforts following acquisitions while ensuring stable operations.
- Develop succession planning and strengthen leadership capabilities within manufacturing.
- Set KPIs and governance protocols to guarantee consistent performance across all facilities.
- Promote Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and Operational Excellence programs.
Candidate Profile
- Proven senior manufacturing leadership in consumer goods or related industries like food and beverage, personal care, household products, or packaging.
- Expertise managing operations across multiple manufacturing locations.
- Track record of enhancing operational metrics including safety, quality, delivery, and cost control.
- Experience successfully navigating major organizational changes, transformations, or integrations.
- Sound commercial judgment and ability to engage executive and board-level stakeholders effectively.
- A collaborative approach to leadership with dedication to cultivating high-performing teams.
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree required; an advanced degree is preferred.
