Role overview
PureHealth is hiring a Sustainability Officer in Abu Dhabi to help drive the organisation’s sustainability and social impact objectives. This position is centered on managing environmental and social data, producing reliable reports, and monitoring performance so leadership can make well-informed decisions and meet compliance expectations.
What you will do
- Gather, verify, and combine sustainability and social impact information from across the business, with a focus on accuracy, completeness, and audit readiness.
- Help maintain greenhouse gas inventories, covering Scope 1, Scope 2, and applicable Scope 3 emissions, in alignment with the GHG Protocol.
- Support sustainability disclosures and submissions such as CDP, ESG, CSR, and social impact reports, ensuring data is delivered correctly and on time.
- Work with teams including Operations, Finance, HR, and Procurement to collect dependable data and align on methods and assumptions.
- Perform data validation, reconciliations, and basic trend reviews to spot gaps, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement.
- Assist in measuring CSR and social impact programs by tracking KPIs, targets, and outcomes.
- Support external ESG assessments, surveys, and ratings by preparing responses and contributing to improvement actions.
What we are looking for
The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, Business, or a related discipline, along with 2–3 years of relevant experience in sustainability, ESG, CSR, environmental reporting, or a similar field. Practical exposure to sustainability data gathering, validation, and consolidation is important. Familiarity with GHG accounting, CDP reporting, CSR, or social impact measurement is highly valued. Strong analytical ability, excellent data handling skills, and a keen eye for detail are essential. Advanced Excel skills are required, and experience with ESG or sustainability data platforms will be an advantage. Working knowledge of frameworks such as the GHG Protocol, CDP, and GRI is expected. Sustainability or ESG certifications, whether completed or underway, will be considered a plus.
