Role overview
PureHealth is seeking a Contracts Specialist in Abu Dhabi to take ownership of contract drafting, review, negotiation, and ongoing administration across vendors, clients, and other business partners. The position is focused on protecting the organization’s interests, supporting compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and making sure contract terms align with operational and commercial goals.
What you will do
- Prepare, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts, agreements, and related legal paperwork so that they are accurate, clear, and aligned with company policy.
- Work closely with internal teams to spot contractual risks and make sure agreements meet operational, financial, commercial, and legal needs.
- Create and update standard contract templates that fit business requirements.
- Discuss and settle contract terms with outside stakeholders and partners.
- Track the execution of contracts for vendors, suppliers, and service providers.
- Handle contract changes, including amendments, renewals, and extensions.
- Support execution teams so milestones and deliverables are completed on schedule.
- Share contract terms and conditions with internal stakeholders for review and approval.
- Assess legal and commercial exposures linked to individual contract clauses.
- Monitor deadlines, obligations, and performance commitments such as payment terms and delivery timelines.
- Keep contract files well organized across both physical and digital records.
- Follow up on open contracts or pending requests that need extra documents or clarification.
- Suggest process, workflow, and system improvements to strengthen contract management.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, or a similar discipline is required; a master’s degree is an added advantage.
- At least 6 years of experience in contract management, procurement, or a comparable function.
- Solid knowledge of contract law, legal concepts, and commercial terms.
- Strong negotiation and analytical abilities, with careful attention to detail and accuracy.
- Comfort using contract management platforms and Microsoft Office tools.
- Well-developed organizational and communication skills, with the ability to juggle several priorities at once.
