About the Role
We are actively seeking a dependable and motivated Storeperson to join our Trade Store Warehouse team in Gladstone. This practical position plays a crucial role in daily warehouse operations, emphasizing dispatch, freight handling, and loading trucks. The ideal candidate can work independently and accommodate other personal commitments while contributing effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, label, and organize incoming stock items.
- Safely and efficiently load and unload trucks.
- Operate various forklifts including high reach, gas-powered counterbalance, and side-loading types.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and uphold warehouse cleanliness and standards.
- Adhere to safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment.
Candidate Profile
- Previous experience in warehouses, storeperson roles, or logistics functions.
- Familiarity with freight management systems like Sorrento is advantageous.
- Strong personal values aligning with Blackwoods company culture.
- Experience in driving or the transport industry is a plus.
- Possession of a current LF forklift license along with experience using counterbalance and high reach forklifts is essential.
