About the Role

We are actively seeking a dependable and motivated Storeperson to join our Trade Store Warehouse team in Gladstone. This practical position plays a crucial role in daily warehouse operations, emphasizing dispatch, freight handling, and loading trucks. The ideal candidate can work independently and accommodate other personal commitments while contributing effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, label, and organize incoming stock items.
• Safely and efficiently load and unload trucks.
• Operate various forklifts including high reach, gas-powered counterbalance, and side-loading types.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and uphold warehouse cleanliness and standards.
• Adhere to safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment.

Candidate Profile

• Previous experience in warehouses, storeperson roles, or logistics functions.
• Familiarity with freight management systems like Sorrento is advantageous.
• Strong personal values aligning with Blackwoods company culture.
• Experience in driving or the transport industry is a plus.
• Possession of a current LF forklift license along with experience using counterbalance and high reach forklifts is essential.
