Storekeeper - Automotive Spare Parts

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Storekeeper to join our supply chain team handling automotive spare parts within our Specialized Sports Equipment division in Dubai. This role requires working onsite to efficiently manage the warehouse inventory and ensure accuracy in all stages of the spare parts process.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming automotive spare parts promptly, then store them accurately.
• Distribute spare parts to workshop and sales departments according to demand while maintaining proper documentation.
• Conduct regular stock control activities including cycle counts and audits to ensure inventory precision.
• Manage goods receipts, transfers, returns, and dispatches effectively within the ERP/WMS inventory systems.
• Organize bin locations and enforce FIFO (First In First Out) principles in warehouse storage.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-ordered storage environment aligned with operational guidelines.
• Identify and report stock discrepancies; inform management about damaged, slow-moving, or obsolete inventory items.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

• At least 3 years of professional experience working in automotive spare parts warehouses.
• Practical knowledge of ERP or Warehouse Management Systems for inventory tracking.
• Competence in Microsoft Excel and the broader MS Office suite for stock reporting and analysis.
• Strong organizational capabilities with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced team environment and achieve operational goals.

Additional Preferred Experience

• Comprehensive understanding of best practices related to warehouse management and inventory control specific to the automotive industry.
• Proven problem-solving skills related to resolving stock discrepancies and variances.
• Previous involvement in supporting both workshop activities and automotive parts sales operations.
