Delivery Expert

About the Role

This position is with locally owned and operated franchise locations offering opportunities for long-term careers and seasonal jobs. As a Delivery Expert, you will perform various duties to ensure smooth store operations and efficient delivery service.

Responsibilities

• Operate all necessary store equipment and prepare products.
• Stock ingredients from delivery areas to storage, workstations, and walk-in cooler.
• Answer and process telephone orders correctly.
• Inventory management including paperwork completion.
• Clean equipment and store facilities regularly.
• Deliver products to customers’ locations, including flyers and door hangers.
• Manage food and supplies transport using hand trucks and handle deliveries up to 50 pounds.

Training and Communication

Orientation and on-the-job training are provided. Applicants should be able to understand and convey instructions accurately, both verbally and in writing, to coordinate with customers and teammates.

Physical and Environmental Conditions

• Work involves varied temperature environments, from coolers at 36°F to areas exceeding 90°F.
• Exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, hot surfaces up to 500°F, sharp edges, and mechanical equipment.
• Tasks require standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing, bending, stretching, crouching, and hand-eye coordination.
• Deliveries may necessitate navigating stairs and various terrains while carrying items.

Driving and Delivery Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record are mandatory.
• Access to an insured vehicle equipped for deliveries.
• Must possess skills to read maps, locate addresses, and delivery across differing terrain, including multi-story buildings.
• Carrying pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing stairs during deliveries is required.

Additional Information

Drivers receive daily tips and mileage reimbursements. Hourly wages are paid biweekly. The age requirement is 18 years or older.
