Position Summary and Key Responsibilities

The Store Manager will oversee sales, profitability, daily operations, asset security, and personnel management within assigned stores. This role involves motivating, training, and guiding the team to meet productivity and sales objectives.

• Meet and exceed sales targets and store KPIs.
• Maintain Damas Jewellery's high standards including store conditions and product display.
• Possess expert knowledge of own products and competitor offerings.
• Ensure exceptional in-store customer service aligned with Damas standards.
• Manage stock control with 100% inventory accuracy.
• Ensure staff punctuality and adherence to work schedules.
• Safeguard store keys responsibly.
• Supervise adherence to store timing, schedules, and break times.
• Communicate sales plans to team and encourage target attainment from all sales personnel.
• Ensure proper operation and accuracy of equipment like weighing scales, calculators, and diamond testers.
• Conduct regular audits and stock counts per Audit procedures.
• Guarantee that all customers are attended to and their needs are understood.
• Provide accurate product and pricing information to customers, supporting sales staff as required.
• Follow all operational procedures as outlined in store blueprint documentation.
• Manage repair orders and ensure timely delivery fulfilling customer requests.
• Maintain precise invoicing and cash/credit transaction records.
• Update customer bookings at least twice monthly.
• Inspect jewellery items regularly for maintenance needs and manage stock accordingly.
• Maintain adequate inventory of packaging materials and report shortages promptly.
• Participate actively in stock-take activities.
• Stay well-informed about prevailing market trends.
• Enforce all security protocols including CCTV and alarm systems.
• Manage petty cash expenses in line with finance policies and submit approvals promptly.
• Ensure staff grooming complies with HR guidelines.
• Address employee grievances following HR policies.
• Foster high staff motivation and energy levels.
• Conduct annual performance appraisals according to company standards.
• Develop a strong talent pipeline within the team.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in retail management and leading teams.
• Proficiency in English and Arabic for effective communication.
• Strong public relations aptitude and leadership skills.
