Role Overview

As an Assistant Store Manager reporting to the Store Manager, you will play a vital leadership role in managing daily store operations. Your responsibility includes motivating your team, fostering a collaborative work environment, and enhancing the customer experience while supporting initiatives to improve store performance and uphold the brand’s standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Encourage and coach your team on the sales floor to create a positive, high-performance environment.
• Provide exceptional customer service, making customer satisfaction your priority.
• Track and analyze store performance metrics, identifying improvement opportunities and proposing action plans.
• Assist in recruiting, training, and developing staff while supporting succession planning efforts and performance management.
• Manage inventory control, ensure compliance with company procedures, and efficiently organize tasks to maintain smooth store operations.
• Maintain store presentation and merchandising standards to maximize sales and profitability.
• Respond swiftly to challenges with practical, innovative solutions, contributing to continuous store improvement.
• Promote a culture of teamwork, engagement, and professional appearance adherence.
• Help manage shift scheduling and delegate daily responsibilities to staff as needed.
• Support omni-channel sales strategies to enhance customer experience and sales performance.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of two years’ experience in retail or customer service supervisory roles.
• Proven ability to lead teams and uphold superior service standards.
• Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization skills.
• Capable of maintaining high performance and quality under pressure.
• Strong sales-driving aptitude and multitasking ability.
• Passion for fashion with good style awareness and knowledge of current trends.
• Proficiency working with POS, ERP, ATS systems, and Microsoft Office.
• Flexible schedule to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 40 lbs (18 kg), and use a step ladder up to 3 meters (10 feet).
• High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.

Additional Information

Salary Range: $48,000 to $53,000 annually, with potential for a higher rate depending on experience.
