Job Overview
This position involves delivering automotive parts safely to professional customers while supporting sales and customer service activities at the store. The role requires driving, inventory management, customer engagement, and maintaining store organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and stage automotive parts and deliver them securely to pro customers.
- Collect returned parts and cores from customers.
- Distribute weekly and monthly promotional flyers, promoting ongoing sales and loyalty programs.
- Perform daily collections from customer credit accounts.
- Develop and sustain strong relationships with local and national pro customers, sharing insights gained during deliveries.
- Support upselling and cross-selling initiatives to enhance average transaction value.
- Maintain cleanliness in the store including floors, restrooms, merchandise facing, dusting, and parking lot upkeep.
- Manage inventory tasks such as truck stocking, back stock organization, and cycle counts.
- Keep informed about inventory and new products to assist customers effectively.
- Engage walk-in customers to identify their needs and suggest suitable parts or services.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

- Basic arithmetic proficiency including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Availability to work various shifts including days, evenings, and weekends.
- Confidence in engaging customers and promoting products.
- Willingness to learn about new products and sales methods.
Preferred Experience and Education
- Previous experience in automotive parts retail is advantageous.
- High school diploma or equivalent educational credential is required.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is mandatory.
Physical and Environmental Requirements
The role predominantly involves standing or walking. Tasks require talking, hearing, manual dexterity, reaching, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling. Employees must frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance. The position requires close, distance, and color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Working conditions involve indoor tasks with occasional outdoor exposure to varying weather. Employees may face exposure to mechanical equipment, elevated heights, chemicals, electrical hazards, explosives, vibration, and moderate noise levels.
Compensation and Benefits
The pay range for this role is CAD 17.60 to 18.85 per hour, depending on location, experience, education, and other qualifications plus potential shift differentials.
