Role Purpose
The Stock Keyholder acts as the leader of the stockroom operations, responsible for managing inventory flow and maintaining shelf readiness. This role ensures product availability, shipment management, pricing accuracy, and adherence to stockroom standards, all contributing to an excellent customer experience by making products readily accessible.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain full and organized product stock to facilitate easy shopping.
- Implement and uphold visual merchandising guidelines throughout the store.
- Manage markdowns, price adjustments, stock transfers, and handle damaged merchandise appropriately.
- Coach and support team members in handling merchandise efficiently.
- Oversee loss prevention measures, safety protocols, and conduct audits to meet company standards.
- Ensure the stockroom is adequately supplied and continuously maintained, including the areas surrounding it.
- Operate store processes focusing on optimal product flow between sales floor and stock areas.
- Identify and communicate merchandising opportunities to store leadership to boost sales.
- Exemplify Under Armour's customer service standards and exceed shopper expectations.
- Adhere to company standards for shipment processing, replenishment, markdowns, merchandising, and cycle counting using company tools.
- Maintain all operational procedures as outlined in the Standard Operating Procedures and Retail Operations Manual.
- Assume responsibilities of the Sales Keyholder during their absence.
- Provide assistance with operational tasks such as cash desk and ticketing when necessary.
- Collaborate with colleagues to meet and surpass store objectives.
- Take ownership of personal development and actively seek growth opportunities to improve performance.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- At least one year of experience in retail, stock management, or freight handling.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Proficient in the local language; basic English skills are advantageous.
- Fundamental numerical, reading, listening, and communication competencies.
- Knowledge of stockroom procedures, risk management, and safety standards.
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.
- Comfortable using or willing to learn technological tools such as handheld and mobile devices.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, and lift items weighing up to 25 lbs (12 kg) throughout work shifts, with or without accommodation.
