Job description
About the Role
This position owns the coordination and delivery of brand, PR, social, retail, and sports marketing activity across the Pacific market. It serves as the local guardian of the Under Armour brand, making sure campaigns stay true to the brand identity while still feeling locally relevant and commercially effective. The role is responsible for deciding which global and APAC assets should be used in market, defining local creative needs, and managing the delivery of local content and campaign work from start to finish.
The position works closely with internal teams, agencies, and other stakeholders to build integrated go-to-market plans across brand, sport, social, retail, and account-led moments. Success in this role depends on strong execution, sound creative judgement, stakeholder coordination, and the ability to measure results and apply learnings to future campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver brand, PR, social, retail, and sports marketing activations across the Pacific market from concept through execution.
- Protect the Under Armour brand voice by ensuring every campaign, asset, and consumer touchpoint aligns with brand standards.
- Select and adapt global and APAC assets for local use, while identifying additional creative needs for the market.
- Run the go-to-market process for brand-led initiatives, including briefs, timelines, deliverables, asset lists, budgets, approvals, and stakeholder coordination.
- Track campaign outcomes, share updates with stakeholders, and use performance insights to improve future launches.
- Manage local content development and campaign execution, including creative production, timelines, approvals, and delivery.
- Support social content planning, channel activity, and influencer programs so they remain aligned to campaign goals and brand guidelines.
- Help deliver retail and eCommerce moments that drive traffic, improve the consumer experience, and strengthen premium brand presentation through creative assets, copy choices, and local production.
- Oversee sports marketing activity, including athlete, partner, and event initiatives that support broader brand objectives.
- Coordinate with agencies and stakeholders by giving clear direction, timely updates, and feedback to keep work on track.
- Work with internal teams to manage project costs, agency scopes, production needs, and delivery schedules.
- Partner with Sales, Retail, eCommerce, Planning, and Merchandise teams to ensure go-to-market plans are connected and consistent.
- Lead alignment meetings, creative reviews, and approval discussions so briefs, integrated plans, content, and budgets stay on course.
- Coordinate campaign calendars, asset requirements, product seeding, and launch milestones with the wider marketing and cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of marketing experience in sport, retail, consumer goods, or another brand-focused environment.
- Background in delivering large-scale integrated brand campaigns, including local content and creative production.
- Experience handling complex stakeholder networks across internal teams, external partners, and cross-functional functions.
- Proven ability to manage agency partners through briefing, feedback, scope control, and delivery against timelines and budgets.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Strong brand judgement with the ability to maintain standards while adapting work for local market needs.
- Good creative instincts and the ability to review assets, copy, and campaign ideas from both brand and consumer perspectives.
- Strong project management capability, with the ability to juggle multiple campaigns, schedules, budgets, and approvals at once.
- Confident communication skills, including writing effective briefs, giving direction, influencing stakeholders, and keeping teams aligned.
- Self-driven, adaptable, and proactive approach with the ability to solve problems quickly in a fast-moving environment.
- Collaborative working style, strong attention to detail, and commitment to high-quality output.
- Genuine interest in sport, athletes, and growing the Under Armour brand.
