About the Role
Join Securitas Ireland as a STARS Lead Officer, where your role will be pivotal in creating a safe, professional, and welcoming environment for clients, employees, and visitors. This position involves managing front of house security operations for a prestigious client in Dublin, working Monday to Friday during day shifts, with an annual salary of €47,000.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that all security staff fully understand and comply with company policies and procedures.
- Verify team readiness daily, including uniforms and necessary equipment.
- Facilitate comprehensive training; identify and fill training gaps among team members.
- Under the supervision of Security Team Leaders, assign tasks and ensure their satisfactory completion.
- Manage incident responses and reporting accurately and promptly.
- Oversee the maintenance and proper use of security equipment, reporting any defects promptly.
- Provide ongoing guidance and support to all security personnel.
- Handle initial responses to incidents, complaints, and safety concerns, escalating issues when needed.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of service delivery plans.
- Promote the core values of integrity, vigilance, and helpfulness, representing both Securitas and the client positively.
- Maintain and update all relevant site security documentation, including manuals, procedures, checklists, and logs.
- Offer administrative assistance such as compiling reports and meeting minutes.
- Record, file, and resolve all information related to daily activities, training, incidents, and maintenance requests.
- Work independently when required, taking ownership of responsibilities.
- Support informed decision-making with accurate and timely data.
- Encourage and assist with team member skill development.
- Assist management with any additional tasks as required.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum education: secondary school graduate; exceptions possible based on experience.
- At least five years of frontline experience in customer service, corporate security, military, or law enforcement roles, familiar with corporate front of house operations.
- Preferred: completion of Securitas STARS front of house training.
- Desired: minimum three years supervisory experience in security operations, service planning or development.
- Experience in managing security-related audits is an advantage.

- Physical tasks such as reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
- Potential exposure to inclement weather and requirement to use protective equipment.
- Awareness and coaching of safety practices for self and others.
- Handling confidential information responsibly.
- Ability to work long hours and adjust schedules as needed without prior notice.
