About the Role

Children’s Health Ireland (CHI), Ireland's premier specialist children's hospital group, invites motivated candidates to apply for the Senior House Officer position in Orthopaedic Surgery. This role offers a valuable chance to advance your paediatric medical career while working alongside experienced clinicians and multidisciplinary teams. The appointment begins immediately and may include rotations across various paediatric specialties to broaden your clinical skills and professional development.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will engage in comprehensive clinical duties within orthopaedic surgery and will have opportunities to rotate through different paediatric specialities as part of 6- or 12-month contracts, contributing to diverse pediatric care and supporting the hospital's commitment to excellent child healthcare.

Requirements

  • Completion of at least one full year of internship or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 to 6 months' clinical experience specifically in orthopaedic surgery.
  • Desirable: At least 3 to 6 months experience in paediatric medicine.
