Corporate Security Officer

Position Location and Schedule

This role is based in Ovens, Cork, Ireland and requires a flexible schedule from Monday to Sunday, with a minimum of 36 working hours per week.

Compensation

The hourly wage is €15.41, along with additional allowances of €20.00 for night shifts and a Sunday premium.

Job Responsibilities

• Complete all required training programs pertinent to the specific site.
• Perform all duties specified in the Assignment Instructions accurately and thoroughly.
• Regularly review Assignment Instructions to stay informed of any changes and proactively suggest service improvements.
• Monitor CCTV systems as needed.
• Identify and report any health and safety hazards at the client site immediately.
• Remain vigilant about threats or environmental changes to prevent disruption, loss, or damage.
• Apply judgment and initiative to escalate any potential threats by involving the appropriate personnel without delay.
• Document incidents comprehensively and promptly to support incident reporting processes.

Essential Qualifications

• Fluency in English is mandatory.
• At least six months of experience in a similar security role.
• Strong written communication skills and keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in computer operations.
• First Aid certification.
• Demonstrated excellent customer service and telephone communication skills.
• Willingness to work flexibly including days, nights, and weekends.
• Valid Private Security Authority (PSA) Licence.
• Possession of Safe Pass certification is advantageous.
• Own transportation is preferred.
• A full, clean driver’s license is required.
