Job description
Role Overview
We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic Band 5 Registered Nurses to join the Central Treatment Suite team at University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust (UHNM). This role involves providing quality patient care within a specialist ambulatory treatment environment, including work regulated by COSHH and involving substantial manual handling.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs to develop, implement, and evaluate comprehensive care programs.
- Deliver all necessary forms of patient care effectively.
- Offer skilled support in the Ambulatory Surgery Department and enhance surgical or treatment-related skills according to competence level.
- Supervise and provide education to junior staff members.
- Act as a role model for students and Nursing Assistants/Nursing Apprentices.
- Manage specific clinical suites within Ambulatory Surgery/Treatment when deemed competent.
- Represent the organization and ambulatory team professionally and positively.
