Role Overview and Responsibilities

As a crucial member of our pharmacy team, you will ensure the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and patient-centered service throughout the dispensing process. Your collaboration will primarily be with Pharmacists and Pharmacy Support Staff to support patients and maintain our commitment to accuracy and exceptional care. Key duties include:

• Accurately dispensing medications in strict adherence to prescriptions, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and UK pharmacy regulations.
• Assisting and advising patients and prescribers by addressing clinical and non-clinical queries within your professional scope.
• Working with other teams at Pharmacierge to facilitate smooth workflow and drive ongoing service enhancements.
• Keeping precise records and managing pharmacy inventory, including ordering supplies, restocking, and expiry monitoring.
• Contributing to safety and quality assurance efforts by reporting any medication safety issues or discrepancies promptly.

Employment Details and Work Hours

We are hiring for both full-time and part-time positions based onsite. Full-time employment consists of a 40-hour workweek with weekend shifts included. Part-time roles require at least 24 hours per week, with specific schedules negotiable during hiring discussions. Please note that remote work options are currently not offered.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

• Relevant NVQ Level 2 Dispensing Qualification or an equivalent certification recognized by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Demonstrated commitment to accuracy and safety in all dispensing and record-keeping activities.
• Strong verbal and written communication capabilities.
• Proven reliability, teamwork experience, and ability to perform well in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• A firm dedication to patient safety, satisfaction, and maintaining high service standards.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of two years of experience working within a UK pharmacy dispensary environment is considered advantageous.
