Role Summary
This position is responsible for delivering proactive and adaptable people services to the executive team, managers, and employees. The role supports strong HR practices while helping ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and employment legislation.
HR Operations
- Own the employee lifecycle from start to finish, including joining, exits, and internal movement.
- Keep employee information accurate and current within HRIS platforms.
- Handle changes related to payroll, employee benefits, and required compliance paperwork.
Employee Engagement and Experience
- Help create and roll out initiatives that strengthen engagement, wellbeing, and employee satisfaction.
- Run employee surveys, review the feedback, and turn findings into practical recommendations.
- Organize celebrations, events, and recognition activities that support a positive culture.
Talent Development
- Support performance management activities and help ensure they align with business objectives.
- Coordinate learning and development programs that encourage employee growth.
- Work with managers on career planning and succession-related discussions.
HR Metrics and Reporting
- Prepare regular and on-demand HR reports covering metrics such as turnover, headcount, and engagement.
- Use data insights to suggest process enhancements and support better decisions.
Collaboration
Act as a reliable point of contact for employees and managers by providing guidance and helping resolve issues in a practical and effective way.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a similar discipline.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in HR operations or a comparable role, ideally within a fast-moving technology or service environment.
- Solid hands-on knowledge of Workday HRIS.
- Understanding of labor laws and regulations relevant to the role.
- Strong organizational ability and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with an employee-focused approach to problem solving.
- Comfort managing several priorities at once and adjusting to shifting business needs.
- Genuine interest in building an inclusive and energetic workplace.
Additional Information
This is a 6-month maternity cover assignment. The role is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and is structured as a full-time, onsite position.
