Sports Staff Member

Role Overview

We are looking for enthusiastic, self-assured individuals who have a passion for sports to join our onboard Sports & Recreation Team. This position is perfect for those who enjoy guiding activities, engaging with guests, and delivering safe, enjoyable, and inclusive experiences while at sea.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead and organize various sports and recreational programs aboard the ship.
• Host and facilitate unique signature attractions and special events.
• Interact and engage with guests of all ages, including families, children, and adults.
• Comfortably utilize a microphone to lead group activities.
• Ensure all safety protocols are followed and manage guest behavior when necessary.
• Provide support across multiple activities daily as operational needs require.
• Deliver exceptional guest service to create lasting onboard memories.

Qualifications

• At least two years' experience in leading sports or recreational programs.
• Background in sports, recreation, or similar fields.
• High School Diploma or equivalent educational qualification.
• Practical experience in several team sports such as basketball, volleyball, golf, pickleball, or comparable activities.
• Excellent communication skills combined with strong customer service abilities.
• Confident in managing guests and directing group activities.
• CPR and/or Lifesaving certification is preferred but not mandatory.

Additional Information

This position is contract-based and requires onboard presence at sea in Miami, FL. Candidates passionate about sports and guest interaction are highly encouraged to apply.
