About the Role
Become a valued member of a vibrant national Disputes & Insolvency team supporting a diverse range of clients across private and public sectors in commercial disputes, tax disputes, and insolvency issues. This position is suited for early career solicitors seeking practical experience, solid mentorship, and early exposure to sophisticated legal matters. You will collaborate closely with principals and senior attorneys who will guide your professional growth, reinforce your advocacy capabilities, and build your confidence in independently handling cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a varied caseload of disputes and insolvency cases.
- Conduct thorough legal research to support case development.
- Prepare briefs for Counsel and draft essential court paperwork.
- Engage with clients and fellow legal professionals effectively.
- Help formulate and advise on case strategies.
- Participate in court appearances, mediations, and client consultations, progressively gaining greater independence.

Candidate Profile
- Possess 1 to 2 years of post-admission professional experience.
- Have prior exposure or strong interest in commercial disputes and/or insolvency law.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with eagerness for courtroom advocacy.
- Maintain attention to detail and a commitment to creating high-quality legal work.
- Exhibit solid problem-solving abilities with rapid adaptability to new concepts.
- Effectively manage time and multiple deadlines.
- Show a proactive mindset toward learning, development, and involvement in business growth.
