About the Role
Join Lightforce Solar as a Technical Sales Quality Specialist, playing a vital role between sales and installation teams to guarantee every solar proposal is precise, safe, and installation-ready. This position demands a sharp eye for accuracy and problem-solving skills to enhance customer satisfaction and streamline project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and verify solar system designs for technical accuracy and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
- Confirm all pricing components including materials, labor, and additional costs are accurate and justified.
- Collaborate closely with sales consultants and installation crews to address and resolve any design challenges.
- Authorize final job scopes, designs, and pricing before project initiation.
- Enter approved projects into management systems (such as simPRO) and coordinate with scheduling teams to ensure seamless delivery.
- Assist sales consultants with technical inquiries and support customers in understanding their solar system configurations and installation plans.
- Provide coaching to the sales team to elevate proposal quality and minimize errors requiring rework.
- Keep comprehensive records of approvals, safety checks, and report on quality, compliance, and cost accuracy.
- Identify patterns that suggest process improvements and recommend enhancements.
- Promote and uphold a proactive health and safety culture within the team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve outstanding outcomes and meet KPIs, including timely and clear communication.
Candidate Qualifications
- Proven background in sales support, coordination, or administrative roles, preferably within the solar, construction, or trades sectors.
- Familiarity with installation processes, safety compliance requirements, and cost management.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple responsibilities.
- Strong communication skills for working effectively with technical personnel and customers alike.
- Comfortable navigating CRM or project management tools.
- A proactive problem solver who takes initiative and shows ownership.
