Overview
The Social Media Marketing Executive will be responsible for planning, creating, scheduling, and managing the school's social media channels to enhance public awareness, boost engagement, and effectively communicate the school's mission, events, and achievements.
Key Duties
- Formulate and execute a monthly content calendar for social media platforms.
- Design engaging posts, captions, stories, reels, and basic graphic content.
- Oversee the school's social media accounts including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and WhatsApp updates as needed.
- Document school occasions, classroom activities, celebrations, and student accomplishments using photos and videos.
- Ensure all published content aligns with the school's brand, values, and tone.
- Respond courteously and professionally to messages and comments or facilitate coordination for responses.
- Track and report on social media metrics such as reach, engagement, and follower growth.
- Collaborate with teachers, students, and administration to gather content and secure necessary approvals.
- Keep abreast of the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices.
- Maintain a secure, respectful, and child-appropriate digital presence.
Key Requirements
- Fluent English writing skills; knowledge of Hindi preferred.
- Good command of various social media platforms and current content trends.
- Basic capabilities in graphic design and video editing.
- Creativity in drafting captions and succinct promotional texts.
- Strong sense of photography and content capture.
- Organized, proactive, and deadline-oriented work ethic.
- Able and comfortable working within a school setting, managing child-related content responsibly.
Preferred Background
- Completion of 12th grade or graduation in any field, preferably with marketing, media, communications, or education experience.
- Previous involvement in social media management for schools, NGOs, brands, or educational institutions.
- Familiarity with tools such as Canva, Meta Business Suite, Instagram features, and elementary analytics.
