Job description
About Lo & Co Interiors
Lo & Co Interiors is an Australian brand focused on designing and selling architectural hardware with a strong appeal to eCommerce and trade clients internationally. The brand boasts an engaged community of over 150,000 followers across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Pinterest, with content playing a central role in showcasing their products through authentic interiors and installations.
Role Overview
The company is seeking a creative and well-organized individual to manage the daily operations of their social media presence. This on-site full-time role involves crafting unique, brand-consistent content, scheduling posts, and managing interactions with the community. Collaboration with the broader marketing team is expected, while maintaining independent ownership of assigned responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and produce original video and static content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Pinterest platforms.
- Introduce new, trend-aware content ideas rather than recycling previous material.
- Film and edit short-form video content consistent with the brand's editorial style.
- Create and oversee a comprehensive content calendar for all supported platforms.
- Schedule and publish posts strategically to optimize timing and platform fit.
- Maintain steady posting frequency aligned with campaigns and product launches.
- Engage promptly and warmly with customers via direct messages and comments, reflecting the brand voice.
- Interact actively with the Instagram community through liking, commenting, and resharing relevant user content.
- Monitor social platform algorithm updates and adjust engagement strategies to maximize reach and growth.
- Adapt and repurpose collaborator and partner content to suit Lo & Co’s channels.
- Support marketing activities by transforming existing creatives into fresh formats across platforms.
- Seek opportunities to extend the visibility and lifespan of high-performing posts.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Demonstrated experience creating social media content specifically for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, or Pinterest.
- Deep understanding of the functioning of platform algorithms, trends, and factors driving organic visibility.
- Strong visual sensibility aligned with an editorial and carefully curated brand identity.
- Excellent written communication abilities to engage audiences directly.
- Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple platform calendars independently.
- Proficiency in shooting and editing short-form videos autonomously.
Preferred Skills
- Background or interest in interiors, design, architecture, or other lifestyle and aesthetic-focused segments.
- Experience with social media scheduling tools such as Meta Business Suite or Sprout Social.
- Basic knowledge of photography or videography extending beyond mobile phone capabilities.
Opportunities
This role offers close involvement with the marketing team, contributing not only in content scheduling but also in shaping campaign outcomes. The position includes access to behind-the-scenes events and shoots, allowing the candidate to capture live content and enrich their portfolio in video, photography, and brand storytelling. It’s a chance to develop social strategy skills while influencing the creative trajectory of a reputable brand.
