Role Overview
The position is for a full-time Content Creator & Social Media Manager supporting a major recording artist, based in Los Angeles with significant travel. The role entails accompanying the artist on tour and managing content capture, creation, editing, and real-time posting to various social media platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel extensively to capture live performances, rehearsals, press events, brand activations, studio sessions, travel, and behind-the-scenes moments.
- Create, shoot, edit, and deliver high-quality photos and videos for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other emerging channels.
- Oversee the artist’s social media accounts including publishing content, scheduling posts, writing captions, and maintaining a unified brand tone.
- Develop and manage a content calendar to ensure a strategic and steady rollout of content initiatives.
- Capture authentic moments that highlight the artist’s personality, milestones, and daily activities.
- Collaborate closely with management teams, labels, publicists, agents, and creative partners to support various campaigns, releases, partnerships, and projects.
- Stay updated on social media trends, platform features, audience insights, and content analytics to optimize strategy and engagement.
- Organize digital media assets and maintain thorough content libraries and project files.
- Handle unreleased and sensitive materials with professionalism and confidentiality.
Candidate Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience creating digital content and managing social media for recording artists, talents, influencers, or entertainment brands.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or equivalent professional experience is preferred.
- Proven record of working with artists’ management, labels, creative directors, photographers, videographers, publicists, agents, and brand partners.
- Strong photography, videography, and editing skills paired with expertise in visual storytelling for short-form content.
- In-depth knowledge of social platforms including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, and Facebook, including their best practices, growth tactics, and analytic tools.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects, prioritize deadlines, and deliver quality outcomes in fast-paced settings.
- Experience with social media scheduling applications, analytics software, and photo/video editing tools.
- Highly organized, detail-driven, adaptable, and comfortable in fluid and shifting environments.
- Excellent communication, professionalism, discretion, and teamwork skills, especially when liaising with high-profile talent and creative teams.
- Prior background in entertainment, influencer marketing, or talent management is advantageous.

Compensation
The salary range for this role is $68,000 to $85,000 USD annually, with pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, and location.
