Role Overview
The Ski Instructor role within the Ski Academy at MAF Entertainment focuses on delivering both private and group ski or snowboard lessons. The instructor will ensure exemplary customer service, maintain guest safety, and oversee lesson supervision at all times.
Key Duties
- Convey private and group ski/snowboard instruction to individuals across all skill levels, including guests with special needs, while upholding superior customer service.
- Respond to guest queries regarding lessons, bookings, sales, and services with professionalism and clarity.
- Inspect and fit rental skiing equipment, ensuring safety standards before guest use.
- Assume full responsibility for guest safety and enforce access controls during lessons.
- Drive revenue by upselling lessons, promoting Ski Egypt offerings, and contributing to academy targets.
- Engage in instructor training initiatives, assist with onboarding new team members, and support competitions and events.
- Maintain company grooming standards, adhere to internal standard operating procedures, health, safety, and environmental policies.
- Exhibit flexibility by working varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, and assist other departments or undertake additional duties as needed.
Candidate Profile
- Possession of an internationally recognized Ski or Snowboard Instructor certification.
- At least one season of Ski Academy experience, preferably with exposure to teaching children.
- Advanced proficiency in skiing or snowboarding with the capability to instruct at a professional standard.
- Fluency in Arabic and English, combined with strong communication skills.
- Effective team collaboration skills, commitment to excellent customer service, and sound instructional techniques.
- Good organizational and planning abilities, and availability to work across flexible shift patterns.
