Role Overview

The Customer Service Officer at VOX Cinemas plays a key role in delivering outstanding food and beverage service to cinema guests, ensuring an inviting atmosphere and memorable visitor experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers warmly, fostering a friendly and inviting environment.
• Assist patrons with ticket purchasing, seating choices, and promotions via counter or digital kiosks.
• Handle payments precisely through cash, card, and digital POS systems.
• Provide comprehensive information on movie schedules, cinema amenities, loyalty programs, and promotional offers.
• Encourage sales of tickets, combo offers, and retail products to increase revenue streams.
• Respond courteously and professionally to customer questions, feedback, and complaints to ensure satisfaction.
• Keep box office, lobby, and service counters clean, organized, and professional at all times.
• Manage guest flow effectively to prevent congestion and delays.
• Collaborate with cinema operations and food & beverage teams for seamless service delivery.
• Maintain accurate documentation of transactions, refunds, and reports.
• Comply with company policies on hygiene, health, safety, and data security.
• Assist colleagues and departments during peak periods, events, and promotions.
• Consistently uphold VOX Cinemas and Majid Al Futtaim Entertainment service quality standards.

Candidate Requirements

• At least one year of experience in food and beverage or hospitality sectors; cinema or restaurant experience favored.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills paired with a friendly yet professional demeanor.
• Capability to perform well under pressure in dynamic, customer-facing scenarios.
• Availability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
• Strict adherence to grooming, hygiene, and uniform policies.
