Signage Production and Installation Technician

Overview

Join our team in Doha, Qatar as a Signage Production and Installation Technician. This full-time role requires 4 to 5 years of relevant experience, preferably with prior exposure in GCC regions. Candidates should be proficient in English for reading, writing, and basic communication. Compensation includes a competitive salary tailored to experience along with accommodation or food allowances per company policies.

Key Duties

• Fabricate, assemble, and install varied indoor and outdoor signage types.
• Prepare surfaces to apply vinyl graphics accurately and maintain high standards.
• Execute mounting, laminating, trimming, and finishing of printed graphics.
• Install components including ACP cladding, 3D channel letters, acrylic and metal letters, large-format vinyl graphics, banners, post and panel signs, wayfinding signage, sign frames, and concrete bases.
• Utilize installation machinery, power tools, and equipment safely and effectively.
• Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and layouts for installation purposes.
• Perform thorough quality inspections at various stages of the installation process.
• Collaborate with production and project teams to meet project deadlines.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a tidy work environment while adhering to safety and quality standards.
• Travel to various project sites as needed for installations.

Qualifications and Skills

• 4 to 5 years of experience in signage fabrication and installation, with strong hands-on expertise.
• In-depth knowledge of vinyl application, graphic mounting, lamination, ACP cladding, channel letters, and structural signage fabrication.
• Competent in operating installation power tools and equipment.
• Ability to read and understand technical documents and production specifications.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to consistent high-quality workmanship.
• Excellent organizational, planning, and time management capabilities.
• Capable of working independently and collaboratively within teams.
• Comfortable with physically demanding tasks and working at heights.
• Willing to travel to project locations as required.
• Basic English communication proficiency, including reading and writing.
• GCC work experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
