Signage Production and Installation Technician

Job Overview

We are hiring a Signage Production and Installation Technician to join our team in Doha, Qatar. This role requires manufacturing, fabricating, assembling, and installing a variety of indoor and outdoor signage. Candidates should have 4 to 5 years of relevant experience, preferably within the GCC region. English proficiency for reading, writing, and basic communication is necessary. Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, and install diverse signage types, including ACP cladding, 3D channel letters, acrylic and metal letters, large-format vinyl graphics, banners, post and panel signs, wayfinding and directional signs, sign frames, and concrete bases.
• Prepare surfaces and substrates for vinyl graphic applications.
• Accurately apply vinyl graphics maintaining quality standards.
• Mount, laminate, trim, and finalize printed graphics for installation.
• Safely operate installation tools, machinery, and power equipment.
• Interpret technical drawings, measurements, and installation plans.
• Perform quality control checks before, during, and after installation.
• Collaborate with production and project teams to ensure timely completion.
• Maintain tools and clean, organized workspaces.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and quality protocols.
• Travel to job sites as needed for installations.

Qualifications and Skills

• 4 to 5 years of sign production, fabrication, and installation experience.
• Extensive practical knowledge of both indoor and outdoor signage manufacturing.
• Experience with vinyl applications, graphic mounting, and lamination processes.
• Skilled in ACP cladding, channel letters, structural signage, and sign fabrication techniques.
• Proficient in using installation tools and power equipment.
• Able to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Organized, efficient, and capable of managing time effectively.
• Independent working ability as well as teamwork skills.
• Comfortable with heights and physically demanding installation tasks.
• Willingness to travel for project assignments.
• Basic communication skills in English (reading and writing).
• Experience working within the GCC region is an advantage.
