About the role

Securitas Germany is looking to hire several security professionals for an assignment at a well-known client site in Hannover, available as soon as possible. This is a full-time, on-site position.

Key responsibilities

• Protect and monitor the assigned premises for the client.
• Be the first point of contact for visitors, customers, and employees.
• Carry out regular patrols, including condition checks and lock-up duties.
• Take appropriate action when incidents occur, such as break-ins, damage, or vandalism.
• Support the operation and monitoring of building management and security systems.
• Work scheduled day shifts from 06:00 to 18:00 and night shifts from 18:00 to 06:00, Monday through Sunday.

Required qualifications

• Certification under Section 34a of the German Trade Regulation Act is mandatory.
• English language skills are required.
• Strong written and spoken German is required.
• A high level of responsibility is essential.
• Class B driving licence and access to a personal car are an advantage.
• The role requires a team-oriented, resilient, punctual, flexible, and customer-focused person.

Compensation and benefits

• Hourly pay is above the applicable collective agreement and starts at EUR 15.14 per hour, plus an additional company allowance of EUR 2.00 after induction, which lasts about three weeks.
• Tax-free premium payments apply under the BDSW collective agreement for night work (10%), Sunday work (25%), and public holidays observed nationwide (75%).
• The employment contract is permanent.
