Role Overview
Join SSP Canada as a Shift Supervisor at Tim Hortons located in Victoria International Airport, Sidney, British Columbia. You will support management to uphold service excellence, lead team members, and maintain operational standards to deliver a superior guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist management in ensuring the team consistently meets service standards.
- Prioritize guest satisfaction as the main focus of operations.
- Maintain brand operational procedures including daily checklists and cleaning schedules.
- Serve as a training buddy to new team members during onboarding, ensuring thorough orientation and adherence to brand standards.
- Communicate duties, priorities, and expectations clearly to the team.
- Provide direction and motivation to help the team achieve business objectives.
- Set performance benchmarks and monitor team member activities, providing feedback and documenting outcomes.
- Help develop team members’ skills for improved performance.
- Ensure product quality meets company standards.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities carefully.
- Complete and verify temperature logs accurately and timely.
Qualifications and Experience
- At least 12 months experience in a busy restaurant or hotel environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage and motivate team members.
- Excellent communication and organizational capabilities.
- Ability to read, interpret, and clearly communicate instructions.
- Competent team player in a fast-paced food service setting.
- Previous supervisory experience is essential.
- Proven cash handling skills.
