About the Role
The School of Creative Arts at QUT invites applications to join a pool of Sessional Academics to assist with teaching and learning across diverse disciplines within the Bachelor of Creative Arts and Bachelor of Creative Industries programs. Majors include Acting, Animation, Creative Writing, Drama, Dance, Film, Screen & New Media, Music, Production Design, and Visual Arts.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess a postgraduate qualification relevant to Creative Arts.
- Hold current and relevant industry experience.
- Have teaching and/or assessment experience.
- Be willing to complete QUT induction and mandatory online training applicable to all staff.
Additional Information
Successful candidates may be contacted by Unit Coordinators for teaching assignments aligning with their expertise. Resumes will be kept on file for 24 months. Please note that only applicants based in Brisbane will be considered for on-campus employment as face-to-face teaching is required. Due to the volume of applications, not all applicants will be contacted if unsuccessful. New applicants to the School may be invited for a brief meeting before appointment.
