Job description
About the Role
The School of Communication invites expressions of interest to establish a panel of sessional academics to provide teaching support across multiple study areas within the Bachelor of Communication program. The School offers majors in Media and Communication Industries, Journalism, and Strategic Communication (minor).
Candidate Profile
Applicants should hold at least a Master’s degree or currently be enrolled in a Master’s program, with preference given to candidates pursuing a Doctoral degree in a relevant field. Candidates must have up-to-date and relevant industry experience coupled with previous experience in teaching or assessment. A commitment to complete the university's induction and mandatory online training for staff is required.
Additional Information
Successful candidates may be contacted by Unit Coordinators for assignments aligned with their expertise. Resumes will be kept on file for up to 12 months. Applicants must be located in the Brisbane area as the role requires on-campus attendance.
