Role Summary
We invite you to join our stable, large organization as a Service Technician based in Auckland, working within a close-knit and supportive team. This multifaceted position involves conducting field and workshop repairs and maintenance on a wide range of Crown Forklifts, including both mechanical battery electric and internal combustion models, offering a varied and skill-enhancing experience.
You'll play a vital role in delivering outstanding service to our customers, helping ensure their business operations continue smoothly. The role provides opportunities for product knowledge development and career progression within Crown, supported by extensive training resources.
Working Conditions and Hours
This is a permanent, full-time role working Monday through Friday, with on-call responsibilities and prospects for paid overtime and premium pay (time-and-a-half) after 40 hours weekly. Consideration is given for an optional four-day, 10-hour work schedule, subject to conditions.
Candidate Profile
The ideal applicant will have at least three years of experience in material handling equipment or related fields such as auto electrical work, battery electric or motor mechanics, and/or possess trade qualifications or relevant hydraulics expertise. Overseas equivalent qualifications are also considered.
Success in this role requires a customer-focused, solutions-oriented mindset, strong teamwork skills, attention to detail, and agility in learning IT systems. Physical fitness is necessary due to manual handling duties. A valid driver's license and clear results from a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening are mandatory.
